John Estes teaches at the University of Missouri and lives in Columbia. Recent poems have appeared or are forthcoming in Another Chicago Magazine, West Branch, Ninth Letter, LIT, Ecopoetics, Notre Dame Review and other places. He is author of two chapbooks: Swerve won a 2008 National Chapbook Fellowship from the Poetry Society of America, and Breakfast with Blake at the Laocoön is available from Finishing Line Press.
