Stephanie Dickinson: Bio

 

 

 

Stephanie Dickinson’s work has appeared in Waterstone, Northwest Review, Mudfish, Portland Review, Green Mountains Review, Columbia Review, Feminist Studies, among others. Along with Rob Cook she co-edits the literary journal Skidrow Penthouse.  Half Girl, her first novel, is published by Spuyten Duyvil.  Corn Goddess, a poetry collection, and Road of Five Churches, short stories, are available from the fiction collective Rain Mountain Press. Her story “A Lynching in Stereoscope” was reprinted in 2005 Best American Series Nonrequired Reading, edited by Dave Eggers. She is a 2006 fellow in Fiction from the New York Foundation for the Arts.  “A Hole in the Soup,” won Glimmer Train’s 2008 Fiction Open.  “Love City” will be reprinted in New Stories from the South 2009, Algonquin Books. More of the “Lust Series” will appear in TTR (vol. 6/2010).
