Bill Lambdin was born in Cleveland, Ohio, lived for a while in Georgia and now lives in Finland with his wife, Leena, who is a Finnish citizen. His poems have appeared in numerous small press magazines and broadsides, such as Alpha-Beat Press, Main Street Rag and Yammering Twits to name a few. He has also published a few chapbooks. His chapbook slow movement, published by Alpha Beat Press, won the Georgia Author of the Year award in 1998. He is currently trying to learn Finnish (with emphasis on the trying) and teaching some English classes at the Adult Education school.
